MTS is a Russian digital ecosystem and the country’s largest mobile operator, which provides a wide range of digital-first services for individuals and business customers. Our ecosystem is developing on the basis of MTS’s leading Telecom business and dozens of fast-growing products and business verticals, the largest of which are FinTech, Retail and Media. Over 86 million mobile subscribers use our services in Russia and Belarus, including around 81 million subscribers in Russia. Our ecosystem customer base (customers actively and deliberately using at least two different MTS products or services from different categories) has more than 14 million customers. We are broadening the definition of Telecom with innovative offering across big data, fintech, web services, media, Internet of Things, Adtech, e-commerce and other areas. We leverage our market-leading retail network as a platform for additional customer services and sales of devices and accessories. MTS has been listed on the Moscow Exchange since November 2003 (MOEX: MTSS). The public free float of the Company’s shares is approximately 42.5%.

Overview of the peering requirements

  1. No formal peering agreement is required, though we're willing to sign an appropriate contract if applicable
  2. Peer must operate it's own backbone in Europe and/or United States
  3. Aggregated exchanged traffic must be 50 Mbps or more (preferrably)
  4. Peering must be set up in all locations where both MTS and potential peer have their presence
  5. IPv4 and IPv6 possible at all locations
  6. MTS reserves the right to terminate peering upon a mutually negotiated terms
